MOH Seychelles HIS is an integrated national health information system project between The Health Care Agency, The Ministry of Health for the Republic of Seychelles as a customer and Manorama Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. India as a contractor. The project shall deliver implementation of HIS at various hospitals, clinics, wellness centers etc. for a total of 20 such sites under the MOH, Seychelles province. The average number of out-patients registered per year is 5,00,000, the average number of in-patients registered per year is 14,000. Similarly, the average number of patients attending casualty per year is 30,000, while the average number investigations undertaken per year stands at 6,60,000.
MIPL’s Lifeline International Suite is one-of-a-kind giant project in East Africa, that is funded by Exim Bank, India. The project holds considerable relevance, as it delivers the implementation of Health Information Systems (HIMS) at various hospitals, clinics, and wellness centers, among others for a total of 20 such healthcare facilities under the MoH, Seychelles province. The HIMS is utilized throughout the whole government healthcare service. This consists of the 16 health centres spread over 3 islands and 1 main hospital (300 beds) with 6 annexes. As per the statistical information provided by the MoH, Seychelles relating to the healthcare system. With Manorama Infosolutions Health Information Systems (HIS), Seychelles healthcare structure will have an added advantage to manage their healthcare services seamlessly.
By establishing an integrated HIS (Health Information System), the Ministry of Health (MOH) is making the necessary commitment that is expected to lead to improvements in health care quality, efficiency of delivery and access, while also moving the health care system closer to harmonization with relevant international standards.
