The HIMS solution Lifeline Public Health Suite - is a centralized cloud based solution. It is enabled centrally as an enterprise capability across all the 399 entities that need to be serviced. It is an integrated solution across 34 modules that are being made functional in all of MCGM Mumbai hospitals. Lab integration and PACs integrations are a part of the solution as well as the inventory, finance and HR functions which are being managed through SAP in MCGM are also integrated into the Healthcare functional flows. With several workflows that are enabled, numerous reports have been configured. The solution has health cards that enabled easy access to any of the healthcare facilities for the patients as well as transfers across the healthcare facilities. We have been successful in automating and re-engineering the existing manual processes at the MCGM hospitals.
This implementation is one of the Largest in the World and the Product is customized to meet the specific needs of the 399 Hospitals of MCGM network and allow a seemless patient flow within any of these hospitals. Approximately 54000 outpatients are treated every day at MCGM health facilities, catering to a single business process flow across so many entities has immense challenges in terms of handling the huge crowds and allows a seamless patient navigation across the entities. The system has been designed to make it Patient centric, doctors/clinical staff centric and Administration centric. The Innovative EMR provides clinical data for research; to apply decision support algorithms and, to allow data mining for real time process improvement and quality monitoring and adoption of the system enabling data driven decisions improving Healthcare.
