Lifeline Communicable Disease Management Suite delivers a solution to manage a Pandemic situation for a Communicable disease like Covid19, and it has found immediate relevance for the Healthcare Providers.
Reporting of cases of communicable disease is important in the planning and evaluation of disease prevention and control programs, in the assurance of appropriate medical therapy, and in the detection of common-source outbreaks. Any communicable disease outbreak needs a Technology solution to enable Government authorities/Healthcare Providers to execute multi-mode interventions to fight a pandemic. Our solution enables this not just for Covid-19 but for all types of communicable diseases.
We launched this Solution initially in the District of Kolhapur and the Product has evolved & matured based on real life scenarios. Based on this success, we approached Covid19 hot-spots like Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai & District of Kolhapur. Both the Government bodies realized the immediate benefits that would accrue to the citizens by implementing this solution, and this has led to a word-of-mouth spread of our solution across other Government bodies. As a result, we have already won 2 Projects in a short span of 1 quarter.
Kolhapur District Administration: Kolhapur District Administration implemented this solution at each Port of entry in the District including Highways & Airport. The Total Number of Patients Registered from 13 March to Sep 2020 using the Application is 2,21,216, The Total Number of Screened Patients stands 92,314.The solution has also been implemented in all Covid 19 Centers and Hospitals at Kolhapur. The Total Number of COVID-19 Patients Admitted in the Hospitals is 11,399 and the Total number of Patients Discharged after Successful Treatment for COVID-19 is 10,079. Apart from this, the District Administration is also leveraging the solution for tracking patients in home quarantine. By implementing our Solution, the District Administration is able to track Citizens from the time they come in the District, screen them, and triage them so that further action could be decided for each Citizen. Remote care has also been made possible through implementation of Tele-Consultation. Operational efficiency has increased by more than 40% as earlier there was no solution in place to control the pandemic.
Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai: MCGM has implemented this solution across most of the Covid-19 Hospitals and Quarantine Centers. The Total Number of Patients Registered at MCGM Facilities from 1 March to 9 Oct 2020 using the Application is 14,883. The total number of Confirmed COVID-19 cases at MCGM facilities stands 10,225 and the Total number of Patients Discharged after Successful Treatment for COVID-19 is 8,112. By implementing the solution, MCGM is able to get real-time information about Covid-19 suspects, confirmed cases, Symptomatic or Asymptomatic cases, Patients with co-morbidity, Deaths, Available beds etc. This has enabled MCGM to take proactive measures to divert focus to most affected areas and also plan for resources like Beds, Lab testing capacity etc. This has led to improvement in operational efficiency by more than 40%.
